Relationship Property

If you have been in a de-facto relationship for 3 years then the Property (Relationships) Act 1976 will apply. This provides for a 50/50 split of all relationship property in the event that you seperate. Clients will come to see us when they have entered into a new relationship and want to protect their assets or when their relationship has broken up and the assets need to be divided.
