Estates

If someone close to you has died then generally, a solicitor will need to be involved to assist with the administration of his or her estate. This is the process where the deceased's assets are sold and distributed to his or her beneficiaries. The first step is to establish whether the deceased had a valid will, and if so, where the original is stored.

If this is the first time that you have been involved in the administration of an estate then no doubt this will be a confusing and upsetting time. The staff at Shanahans have handled thousands of estates over the years and will guide you through the process and ensure all the legal requirements are met - and we will treat you with dignity and kindness.

If someone close to you has died recently and you're not sure what the process is, then give Linda or Tracy a call and they will be happy to help you.
